Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

Holiday Gift Guide: Let's Explore

There’s no better feeling in the world than getting in my jammies, turning on the fireplace, grabbing a warm blanket, and enjoying the Christmas tree lights while watching a holiday movie. OK, that’s cute but we’re in Los Angeles, and it’s been in the mid-80s since the start of December. I definitely won’t be sipping hot cocoa while decorating my front porch.

Aside from going to the coffee shop, I hadn’t been able to find a cold brew I actually enjoyed. They’re always either too bitter or too sweet. When I came across Explorer Cold Brew, I thought I’d give it a shot, especially since there were some yummy all-natural elixirs in the mix. Fun fact: Elixirs actually contain a lot less sugar than syrups and are much healthier.

After mixing my brew with the Madagascar Vanilla elixir and some water, I was extremely surprised at how delicious the brew was. It wasn’t overly sweet, like most coffees with added syrup, and it was the perfect strength. I also later tried the Himalayan Sea Salt Caramel elixir and I think I found a favorite for life!

Explorer Cold Brew definitely gets a spot on the Holiday Gift Guide. It is the perfect gift for your favorite coffee-lover, because gift cards to the big-brand coffee shops are so outdated. They also come in cute packages and even a 4-pack gift box.

Explorer Cold Brew is a brand who really cares about their consumers. With 4 different caffeine levels (regular does the trick for me), natural ingredients, and world-wide tastemakers from South Africa, Lebanon, and Australia, it’s no wonder this brand even tastes like it has explored the world… see what I did there?

Founder Cason Crane has traveled to over 100 countries on all 7 continents. He was the first openly LGBT person to climb Mt. Everest and the highest mountain on each continent. He accomplished these risky adventures all while raising money and awareness for LGBTQ suicide prevention. To tie it all together, he discovered some of the best cold brews around the globe and wanted to create something to encompass the best tasting brews, all in one.

Explorer coffee beans come from Ethiopia and are 100% organic and specialty-grade Arabica beans. Once the coffee reaches the states, they are roasted to a medium roast and then cold brewed for 12 hours using Explorer’s special method.

A reason I continue to blog about great brands I find is because I am continuously amazed by how much good people and brands do. We have to shine a light on the ones shining brightest. Explorer Cold Brew has teamed up with Charity:Water, an organization providing clean water access around the world by working with local partners to implement sustainable, community-owned water projects in remote communities. Each cold brew purchased contributes to clean water projects.

At Explorer Cold Brew, we believe that while coffee fuels our lives, clean water powers the world.
