This Valentine's Day, Fall In Love With Your Heart
Calling all Charlotte, North Carolina locals… love is in the air.
With the sometimes dreaded Valentine’s Day here, the Ballantyne Ball is back on February 10th and more enchanted than ever. This year’s deserving organization is the HeartBright Foundation.
The Ball is put together by a fantastic team that chooses a deserving organization to raise funds for. This year, they went with the romance of Valentine’s Day, coupled with the intrigue and fantasy of a masquerade ball to spice things up, Charlotte style.
“HeartBright is an amazing organization that runs a medical clinic for the working poor,” said Founder and Chair, Allen Starrett. “They focus on treating cardiovascular disease and other related issues.”
The Ballantyne Ball team nominates local organizations and seeks out candidates that could use the most support. Not the easiest job in the world to choose a deserving organization. After several rounds of interviews with the organizations, the team decides on one cause for the year.
The local community is what the Ballantyne Ball team aims to help. With so many things going wrong in the world, why not come together to eat, drink, dance, and have some fun for a cause. People in the community are able to purchase tickets for the event and even donate goods. However, if you’re not part of the Charlotte community, you can simply donate and make a big impact.
Ballantyne Ball is a 501(c)(3) organization that showcases a charitable Valentine’s masquerade gala at the Ballantyne Hotel. As Ballantyne’s signature annual gala, our mission is to partner with the local community to unmask impactful charitable causes in our own backyard. Everyone involved in planning the Ball – including directors, committee members, volunteers, vendors, supporters and attendees – is dedicated to giving back to Ballantyne and Charlotte.
