Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

Never a Bad Hair Day

Never a Bad Hair Day

My carefully crafted gift guide continues with something for the person who needs some haircare.  I am obsessed with making my hair as healthy as possible and the bleach is not helping. I have horrible dry ends, so I try to find the best hair products that will soothe and mend my strands.

I’m taking you into the shower with me, but don’t get any funny ideas, we took precautions.  You have to actually experience Seychelles Haircare to get the full story.  This stuff is made by the hair gods and I’m all in.

I started with the Damage Repair Argan Oil Shampoo.  The scent is unobtrusive and very personal.  I kept getting a whiff of the moroccan Argan oil.  Delicious.

The shampoo not only moisturizes my hair and scalp, it also boosts cell renewal so healthy hair can keep growing.  The Seychelles shampoo keeps working even when I’m done in the shower.

Up next was the Damage Repair Argan Oil Conditioner.  I get very apprehensive about using conditioner.  My hair doesn’t have a lot of body, so when I use heavy products, it becomes even more limp.  The Seychelles conditioner promised to leave my hair shiny and bouncy, so I took them up on that.

I am obsessed with what the shampoo and conditioner duo did for my strands.  My hair wasn’t weighed down or too soft. It was so easy to brush through while wet, and since I always brush my hair wet and let it air dry, it cut the time in half.

The Seychelles shampoo and conditioner have all natural ingredients, so random chemicals aren’t being introduced to my strands.  It’s also vegan and cruelty free. Founder Sarah Piaget made it her mission to create a brand that was non-toxic and non-irritating.

I also got the opportunity to try the Seychelles Damage Repair Argan Oil Treatment since my package came in a perfectly combined trio.  Same as the conditioner, I didn’t want to weigh my hair down.  My ends are actually pretty bad. I don’t like getting haircuts often because my hair is my security blanket and if it’s not long I feel weird, so you can imagine what my ends look like with consistent hot tools use.

I decided since I’m going all in, I had to give the oil a try.  I am SO glad I did! The Argan Oil didn’t do anything but make my hair feel extremely luxurious.  I started from the middle of my hair and went down to the ends. A small amount is best, but I went a little crazy.

I let my hair air dry and then used a curling iron to style it.  My hair felt soft and amazing, but most importantly, the ends were not crisp or breaking off. My strands stayed in tact and I’m thankful!

Seychelles not only helps people with their tresses, they are also helping fight climate change.  Their products are bottled with recycled plastic, helping save the planet, one head of hair at a time.

I can’t stop running my hands through my hair and smelling it.  It smells amazing and feels so good.
