Clean Inside and Out
I came up with the concept for Beauty Inside Us in the shower. I was scrub-a-dub-dubbing, and boom, I combined two of my passions: giving back and writing.
Daily Concepts is my new soulmate. It’s specifically created for people who think (and sing) in the shower. Me and me… since I sound like Ariana Grande in the shower. The brand was created to change the world one shower at a time.
It’s still gift giving season, and Daily Concepts has won a spot on my gift guide! But first, the basics. I hate getting old. Let’s put that in the forefront. I’m talking about all the new lines on my face and the stuff my skin has to deal with. I never realized winter could make skin so dang dry. I’m always searching for the latest and greatest products and tools to help keep me looking young and fresh.
Daily Concepts has one of the best dry brushes I have ever used. I have been trying different brushes for years but they either hurt when brushing or they didn’t do much. The brush is actually a Detox Massaging Brush. It has bristles and beechwood that massages as I brush, helping smooth skin by removing dead skin cells and increase blood flow and circulation, which leads to lessening those not so cute dimples.
I am also loving the Daily Jade Facial Roller. I’ve been seeing these types of rollers all over Instagram, but I wasn’t completely sold on them. I tried the Daily Concepts version, and I am a believer, y’all!
I love that the roller has 2 jade stone heads, a smaller one for the under eye area and the bigger one for the rest of my face. The roller is amazing for boosting blood circulation, reducing swelling, and actually helps skincare products work even better. I wake up with puffy eyes occasionally, so I pop this baby in the freezer for a bit. When I roll it under my eyes while it’s nice and cool, it works extremely fast and feels amazing.
I’m also a bit obsessed with the Daily Hair Towel Wrap. I always do my hair first, then makeup, since I use hot tools on my hair I don’t want my makeup to sweat off. I’ve tried other hair wraps in the past, but if my hair is done and I put it up to do my face, my hair is a total disaster when I open it. This one didn’t even make my hair frizzy! I was shocked. I opened it to exactly what it looked like before putting it up.
I could go on and on about all of the Daily Concepts products I tried, but what I really love about the brand is their heart. Daily Concepts is sticking with the shower theme and is spreading the love. They partnered with Lava Mae, who has a mission to deliver dignity to the homeless one shower at a time. A perfect fit.
