Confidence Extended
Oh my lanta…. I finally have the hair I have always dreamt of. Long, full, and luscious… did I mention I can remove it from my head?
I have always used clip-in extensions when I am wanting to add volume to my hair. I didn’t think I needed the length, but I have always had an issue with volume. The clips always tend to start hurting after a few hours and I rip them out and shove the hair in my purse. Cute, right?
A friend mentioned the halo extensions and I thought there is no way those things actually look good. When she said her favorite brand was Zala Hair, I started researching it like I had a term paper coming up. I figured it was worth a shot.
They ask for a couple of photos through their Free Shade Match and match your strands perfectly. I couldn’t believe it took about a day and they told me my color. You can also see which length you want with example photos available on their length guide.
My shade was Sunkissed Highlights #10/613 and I got the 20 inches. For most people, the 20 inch halo won’t hit your waist, but my torso is very short, so keep that in mind.
The Zala Halo extensions came and I was blown away not only by the exact perfect match to my color but the packaging! It comes with its own hanger and in a beautiful box filled with products to wash and care for your new tresses. I was already very impressed.
I held the extensions and noticed immediately how thick they are. It would probably take 2 to 3 sets of clip-ins from a different brand I have always used to get that level of thickness.
I definitely had to play with the halo and the two clips to figure out how to get it in the right place, but once I did, I couldn’t feel the clips and most importantly, I didn’t see the clear strap going across my hair part.
My confidence immediately skyrocketed. Oh my goodness, the hair was glorious. It was longer than I have ever had it and so perfectly thick. I never wanted to take off the halo extensions.
On my first day wearing the Zala halo, I had it on from about 10 am until about 9 pm and it never hurt, moved out of place, and the best part of it all was there were no clips peeking through. Hallelujah!!
Sometimes I stop and wonder. Whose hair am I clipping onto my head? Are they even aware I bought their hair? My Zala halo is made with 100% Remy human hair. That may sound a bit strange, but Zala prides itself on being ethically sourced. The hair is sourced from Eastern Europe and Asia and comes from healthy adults who agree to sell their hair. In other words, Zala can locate the origin of all their sourced hair. Zala also has vegan keratin hair available, as well.
Zala carries clip-ins of the same quality as the halo, ponytail extensions (which I think will be my next venture), and tape-in and weave-ins, which are considered semi-permanent.
