Feelin' Cheeky
If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m obsessed with the holidays. I wish it was Christmas all year long with decorations, a tree in the house, and Hallmark Channel Christmas movies playing back to back. If I could live in a snow globe, I would.
Even though the holidays aren’t about presents, it’s my favorite part. I love to give gifts and see people’s reactions when they open them. I am a self-proclaimed gift-giving expert, and my gift guide still has a couple of perfect items left on it. This time, we are tackling the most wonderful people on earth, dog lovers.
Teddy the Dog is a brilliant company with enough wit and sarcasm to make Dwight Schrute jealous. I can’t go through their website without chuckling. This brand is high on my gift guide and they have the cutest gear for everyone in the fam.
My Teddy’s Flapjacks onesie is my new bestie. The different quotes on the bum are the cutest things I’ve seen! My favorite is Feelin’ Cheeky, massive pun intended. There are other hilarious ones like “butt’s not to like?”, “call of booty”, and “say no to crack”.
I wore the comfy PJs all day while decorating my tree and wrapping presents. It kept me nice and toasty without that awkward feeling of polyester, like my other onesies. It is made with 100% cotton and is nice and stretchy. The website has the perfect size chart, including height and weight.
I didn’t want Pretzie to feel left out, so she got herself an Alternative Cat tee from Teddy. We always joke that Pretz is a cat in a pup’s body because she loves to lounge so much. This Doggie Tee is so perfect. It’s stretchy and seems to be comfortable because she is currently napping in it.
My favorite thing about Teddy the Dog is their sense of humor. From the dog apparel to their human apparel, sayings like “Petflix and Chill” have me rolling. There is even a pup tee of Teddy with a cone on that says “don’t even ask” from their Teddy After Bark collection.
Although the brand keeps everything light hearted and fun, they come together with different communities when tragedy strikes. Teddy the Dog created PAWS for effect as a way to give back through their creativity.
Teddy the Dog has given back $50,000 to the SPCA of Texas for Hurricane Harvey Relief, $41,000 to the Pulse Victims’ Fund for the Pulse Shooting, $2,442 to K9 First Responders, Inc., and one that hits extremely close to home, $2,600 to the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund. They create apparel and items specifically for the tragedies and 100% of the proceeds go to the intended fundraisers.
There is something special about dog lovers. French novelist Anatole France once said, “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” I believe the love for an animal translates into so much more and Teddy the Dog proves that with their incredible efforts.
