Cherri Cherri Lady
It is so important for me to feel comfy in what I’m wearing. Sure, I can throw on leggings and a sweater, but what’s underneath makes all the difference, and during these crazy Corona times, I’m always looking for comfort.
The major bra and panty companies look great and all, but they’re not using the best fabrics for my skin. Let’s be real, panties touch all your fancy bits, so the more organic they are, the safer.
When I discovered Cherri, I immediately fell in love with the brand. Their style is adorable with a hint of sass. I love the mesh incorporated in the bralettes and undies. These are definitely not your average granny panties.
Cherri cares about what goes into their pieces. Their items are made with organic supima cotton, which is completely soft and breathable and known as the cashmere of cotton, so no sweating in fragile areas here. They also use organic dyes and all items are made in the USA, Brooklyn to be exact. The issue with other brands not using organic dyes is that bleach and chemicals are probably involved, which can come in contact with your skin, and I think we all know that’s not the best thing in the world.
The Cherri collection has something for everyone. Briefs, thongs, “Day of the Week” packs, and even Zodiac Briefs for those who are really proud to be a Leo… or any other sign. I really like their basic color scheme. Strawberry with the pink fabric and red mesh for spicing things up, and the black which I like since it keeps things nice and simple.
Cherri isn’t just eco-friendly with high ethics, they’re making a huge difference. The brand donates underwear and hygiene products to women in homeless shelters in the US. This is incredible, because although most people think about food, clothes and toiletries for the homeless, we seem to forget the basic necessities for women. It’s not just about providing them something for their monthly cycle, it’s about giving them basic care and their dignity. No woman should ever feel ashamed about mother nature’s gift, no matter where they live.
When I received my Cherri set, I was so excited. Cherri founder Gabriella is a sweetheart and I can see why the brand truly cares about their customers. They’ve even gone so far as to make their packaging eco-friendly. The plastic the set came in was compostable, meaning they don’t use any actual plastic.
The fabric was truly super soft. I was in my set the entire day, even after taking photos. It’s actually way too cute to hide under clothes, so I’m going to rock the bralette with high-waist pants and a light jacket, come warmer weather. I can even workout in the top, since it has adjustable straps and a pretty good support system.
