Skin Care Savior
I have a very serious questionβ¦ what happened to a pregnancy glow?! I have never had issues with breakouts, even as a teen, and now itβs as if baby took over my face and itβs all downhill from here. I was trying all my super expensive moisturizers and face masks, but it was just getting worse. Finally, I came across Eraclea. My newest savior!
Eraclea is a full skin care line dedicated to hydrate, clean, and repair skin. They also have a full line for acne. Since my breakouts are baby-related, I opted for their regular line and Iβm obsessed with the results. I have been using the products for about a month now and I see a drastic difference.
One of the products I have on me at all times is the ever-moist lip balm. Its ingredients include jojoba oil which helps restore elasticity and smoothness, beeswax, helping protect my lips from the sun, and shea butter, which promotes healing. I love that the second I put it on, I feel a huge difference in my lips. They are automatically softer and it doesnβt feel greasy at all. The wet feeling goes away rather quickly, but the softness and satin-feeling stays for a good amount of time. I love applying this over my matte lipsticks, because we know how drying those can be.
Iβm also loving the intensive hydrating day cream. It not only hydrates (obviously), but it also has ingredients like green tea extract, which is an anti-inflammatory, and watermelon extract, which is an antioxidant. Iβm not just softening my skin, Iβm protecting it from the environment and helping reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines. Every 30-something should already be knee-deep in using products to help prevent wrinkles so we donβt have to worry about erasing them later. I love how the moisturizer seeps into my skin almost immediately and my skin feels soft and hydrated the rest of the day. I havenβt been using much makeup during the quarantine, so Iβm really seeing how these skin care products react with my skin throughout the day.
I always exfoliate my face at least once a week. If I have back-to-back events where I wear heavy makeup for long periods of time, I end up exfoliating twice a week. I need something that isnβt going to dry out my skin, but also gets the job done. I love that Eracleaβs daily bamboo exfoliant is gentle enough to be used every day. Exfoliating is important because it helps increase skin cell turnover and allow new and fresh skin to take its place. If I can do this everydayβ¦ hello baby soft skin! Bamboo is the key ingredient allowing this to be used daily. It gently removes surface toxins without any harsh abrasives. This is my new favorite exfoliant cleanser because it also uses shea butter to nourish skin and mango butter to heal any wounds.
I had to save the best for last. Iβm obsessed with the detox-oxygenating reaffirming mask. What goes perfect after a beautiful exfoliant? A perfect mask. I love using this because it comes out of the easy-to-use-tube a gorgeous purple. Once I apply it to my face, it starts turning white and disappearing. I immediately feel that itβs doing some glorious magic as it disappears. I canβt tell you enough how fun it is to apply it.
The Eraclea mask contains key ingredients like oxygeskin, which helps improve radiance in complexion and brightens dull skin, HylaFusion, created by co-founder Dr. Janet Denlinger, which provides unusually long lasting and more penetrating hydration increasing the effectiveness of ingredients like Vitamin C to the skin, and CellDetox, which reduces visible signs of aging and restores natural radiance to tired skinβ¦ I think Iβm going to be needing more of this stuff in a few months when baby is here.
I canβt say enough good things about the brand Morgan Hare and Dr. Denlinger created for all skin types. Itβs so rewarding coming across a product line that actually does what it says itβs supposed to. Whatβs even better is when the brand does so much to give back. Eraclea donates 15% to The Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery Foundation (AiRS), a non-profit organization dedicated to advocate for, educate, and financially assist women who desire breast reconstruction after mastectomy due to breast cancer.
