OOmg!
I’ve always been told pink is not my color, so I stayed as far away from fuschia as possible. Lately though… I’m obsessed! All those haters can kiss my toosh, because my closet is slowly becoming Barbie’s paradise.
My latest addition are my new pink sneaks. These OOFOS OOMG shoes make my feel like I’m walking on fluffy clouds… OO! The level of arch support is ridiculous and it actually reduces stress on my feet. The revolutionary technology, made by veterans of the athletic industry and an expert foam chemist, is called OOfoam and OOmg, it absorbs 37% more impact than regular shoes. I’m definitely packing these babies for my trip to Armenia next month. Did I mention all of their materials are non-toxic?
OOFOS isn’t just great for my feet. For every pair purchased on their website, they donate 3% to the Dana-Farber Breast Cancer Research team. OOFOS didn’t just choose a random charity, this one hits close to home. OOFOS’ brand leader, Duncan Finigan, fought Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer for 4 years, and in May of this year, she lost her battle. Duncan started Project Pink during her journey and combined it with her passion for OOFOS. Along with the founders of the brand, they turned shocking news into a mission to find a cure.
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston wasn’t a random choice, either. Duncan received treatment there during her battle and made it a point to make every moment of her life count. Her reaction to the diagnosis was “not to cry. It was to live. To endure.”
OOFOS doesn’t only carry sneakers, they also have sandals, clogs, and even snow boots, all for both men and women. I can’t wait to get my snow boots for this winter! The OOmg shoes come in a bunch of different colors too, you know, if pink isn’t your thing… yet. I’m loving the white & gray and the white & navy, too. Best part is, these shoes come with a 6-month warranty. That’s kind of unheard of and pretty much amazing.
Speaking of Boston, August 17th is National Massachusetts day! Honor the day with OOFOS.
